Transformation of River Restoration Movement Network

A study on social network transformation of river restoration movement is very important as it related to the network’s ability adapting various changes and a movement’s sustainability. This research aims reveal history emergence, tactic, strategy, process procedure establishment transformation. An ethnographic approach was chosen by involving Komunitas Pemerti Kali Code (Code River Observer Community) main subject current research. Data collection conducted through live-in-society for 2 months conduct participant observation, in-depth interview Focus Group Discussion. analysis constructed using Mario Diani’s theory about network. The result shows that first factor emergence problem grievance contamination rubbish waste due people’s poor literacy river. second one strategy tactic used in form structural cultural restore third creating based shared idea, value, norm, collective identity, interest fourth experiencing from spontaneity, institutionalization autonomy phase attempt reconciling with change maintain sustainability.
